A message from the Rector

Welcome to the Website of St Peter's Bexhill. St Peter's is the original Parish Church of Bexhill, and has been witnessing to Christ and serving the local community for over twelve hundred years. This work continues today, and as you browse this site we hope that you will be able to appreciate the extent and vitality of our church's life today.

We believe that, through a wide variety of activities, St Peter's has much to offer to people of all ages and backgrounds. If your taste is for formal worship, we attach great importance to good and relevant preaching and to enriching out liturgy with choral music of a high standard. If on the other hand you prefer a more informal and relaxed style, our weekly Time for God Service in the Community Centre is for you. Whether in the Church or the Community Centre, you are assured of a warm welcome. In all this, our aim, in the words of our Mission Statement, is to know Christ and to make him known.
