PETER S MINIBUS 1. INSURANCE EXCESS. The Driver and/or organisation using the vehicle will be liable to pay to St. Peter s Minibus Group any insurance excess in the event of an insurance claim. We also reserve the right to pass on any extra costs incurred through loss of No Claims Bonus. The level of insurance excess depends on the driver at the time of the incident and is variable according to the driver s age and any previous driving convictions. The minimum compulsory excess is 150. The Driver and/or organisation must supply, within twenty-four hours, a full written report of any incident likely to give rise to an insurance claim. As is customary, in such circumstances, no admission of liability should be made to anyone else involved in the incident. 2. Drivers Licence. All drivers must have entitlement to drive included on their licence. Licences obtained since 1997 do not have this entitlement. If in doubt check with the minibus manager before you drive the minibus. 3. DAMAGE. The Minibus shall be returned in good and clean condition. If it is returned dirty there will be an additional 30 cleaning fee. The user of the vehicle will be liable for the cost of repair / replacement of damaged seats, trim or any other items found to be missing or damaged on its return. 4. KEYS. Lost or damaged keys and/or remote locking device will be charged at cost to the user. Where we have to get a replacement key to the user of the vehicle the incidental costs of postage, travel and accommodation will also be charged to the user. Keys must NEVER be left in vehicle whilst unattended by its driver. Any loss or damage incurred as a result of such action will be the responsibility of the user. 5. SMALL BUS PERMIT. All users making a charge, whether direct or indirect MUST have and produce to us their own Small Bus Permit before use commences. These are obtainable from VOSA for a small fee. Please ask our advice if you are unsure. 7. Journey Record. This MUST be completed by the driver before leaving the vehicle and must also indicate when where and at what time drivers change over. 8. Fines. All fines for traffic offences and parking fines are the responsibility of the user. 9. Fuel. The Minibus runs on Diesel Fuel. If the wrong fuel is put in the tank serious damage will occur if the engine is started. The user will be liable for the cost of all repairs including draining and cleaning the tank and fuel lines and any forecourt service charges. 10. TOWING. The vehicle may not be used to tow another vehicle or trailer without written permission from the minibus manager. Strict legislation exists which covers this topic. Further advice is available from the minibus manager. 11. Cost of Use (including fuel) A morning, afternoon or evening booking will be 10, to include the first 20 miles thereafter a charge of 50 pence per mile. A double booking, for morning and afternoon for example will be 20 and include the first 40 miles, thereafter a charge of 50 pence per mile. An all day booking will be 30 and will include the first 60 miles, thereafter a charge of 50 pence per mile. 12. Cost of Use for longer periods (excludING fuel). a) Longer periods of use will be 25 per day and the user will pay for their fuel used during this period. b). The vehicle will be filled up with fuel by us before use commences and WE WILL REFILL it upon its return and you the user will be billed for the additional fuel. 13. Cancellation. ST. Peter s Bexhill Minibus Group reserves the right to refuse or withdraw from a booking at any time with or without giving a reason and without financial loss to us. 14. Acceptance of these terms. Using the vehicle automatically indicates your acceptance of these terms even if the booking form is not signed.
